-Contact the recreation office by phone or in person for all reservations.

-You may camp, on a first-come, first-serve basis depending on site availability.

-Reservations must be made for a two-night minimum, three-night minimum on holidays.

-If you must cancel your reservation, notification must be 14 days or more before the reservation date, for a refund minus a $10.00 service charge.

-Check-in time is 3:00 pm. Check-out time is 1:00 pm. Campers who occupy a site prior to noon will be charged an extra day.

-Register in recreation office and pay fees upon arrival.  Camping fees are non-refundable.  No campsite setup after 10:00 PM.

-PETS ARE NOT PERMITTED. Information on kennels may be obtained.

-Campsites are for FAMILY camping.  A maximum of one family, one camping unit and one car per campsite is allowed.  A family consists of up to two adults and children under 18 years of age.  A small tent may be added for children as long as there are no more than two adults: otherwise an additional site or sites would be needed.

-Registered Campers are allowed visitors from 8:00 am to 10:00pm. Visitors' cars must be parked in the parking lots. Campers are responsible for the actions of their guests, and camping permit will be revoked for violations of rules and regulations by guests.

-Boat slip rentals are designated; do not park just anywhere.  Slips must be rented at recreation office.

-Use fire rings  for all fires.  All wood must fit in fire ring and extinguish your fire when leaving campsite.

-Do not cut down, drive nails into, or injure trees or shrubs.

-Use of electricity for air conditioning or heating is not permitted. 

-QUIET HOURS ARE: 10:00 pm to 7:00 am. Radios will be maintained at low levels & off during quiet hours.

-These are prohibited:

               -Hauling  firewood into campground

                -Washing dishes at water stations or restrooms

                -Draining waste water onto ground

                -Firearms, air rifles, bows and arrows, and paintball guns

                -FIREWORKS of any kind or size

                -Chainsaws and any other power saws

                -Two-wheel motorized and all-terrain vehicles

                -Burning chemically treated woods

                -Overnight sleeping on boats in marina

-Maximum speed is 10 miles per hour in campground.

-Disorderly conduct and profanity are not permitted.

-Recreation area director reserves the right to refuse service and the right to revoke or terminate any permit (s) if any of these rules  are violated.

PICNICKING is available from 8:00 AM until dusk:: register in recreation area office.




-Register your boat or each personal watercraft and pay fee (s) at recreation office.

-Boat ramp at Ironwood Point is open from 7:00 AM and closes at 10:00 PM.

-Launch and remove your boat from the ramps as quickly as possible. Overnight storage of boats and trailers on boat-ramp parking areas is not permitted.

-Observe the regulations in the current Lake Wallenpaupack Boating Guide and the PA Fish and Boat Commission's current Summary of Boating Regulations must be obeyed.

-Camping on the islands is not permitted. Islands are open daylight ours only. Pets are not permitted.

-The PA Fish and Boat Commission has assigned personnel to assist you and to enforce the Commission's regulations for your safety and enjoyment. The Fish and Boat Commission has the jurisdiction and responsibility to enforce PA boating and fishing laws on these public state waters.
